Phil West

Host

A lifelong music lover, Phil has been a fan of classic hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s since his teenage years. Growing up in Sydney, he spent hours listening to his favourite records, recording his own at home radio shows and dreaming of one day becoming a radio presenter.

Now retired, Phil has turned that dream into a reality and couldn't be happier to share his passion for music with the Coast FM community. Phil's deep knowledge of the classic music era influences his program every week and loves spinning tracks from legends like Abba, the Bee Gees and Elton John.

Having lived on the Central Coast for nearly 40 years, Phil loves the opportunity to connect with the local community through the station. Phil enjoys chatting with the listeners, getting their feedback and hearing stories of how music has shaped their lives.
