"CoastFM has given me the opportunity to indulge in my love of 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s music, and to work with a large group of dedicated volunteers, passionate about providing a quality service to our local community."
The beautiful Central Coast has been my home for 35 years, although I was born and raised in the northern suburbs of Sydney. My working background has included roles as town planner, project manager, call centre manager, software trainer, to name a few. Whilst many of these positions have required me to create and deliver formal presentations, I had no experience in radio until I joined CoastFM as a volunteer in late 2022.
I retired from full-time work late 2020 and am thoroughly enjoying retirement life. When I’m not spending time with family or friends, my dog and I enjoy the social interaction with other dogs and their owners with leisurely walks and during agility training (for fun) on a Saturday.
My taste in music is centred around 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s rock and pop. However, depending on the song, it can vary to other timelines and genres. The love of music is shared by so many, brings joy to the heart, and evokes memories of the past. Having the opportunity to be involved in bringing a wide range of music to our local community is something I truly enjoy.
