From The Secretary

The following are short notes from the  Management Committee Meeting held on the 13 October, 2014.

With the Station looking a bit ‘tired’ we will soon be organising a wash down of the outside of the premises, as well as organising a working bee/BBQ for other jobs that need to be done.  The date will be set by the new incoming Management Committee.

Our financial position remains strong.

Live Broadcasts of Mariner’s Games have begun.

New panels for our Studio have arrived in Australia and are being checked by the Distributor.  Stay tuned for further updates on this very exciting project.

Sponsorship remains at 99.5%, which is excellent for such a  tough market.  2 courses were recently held at the station, by the CMTO covering editing and Interviewing.  9 Presenters attended each course.

We have received the results from our Research Panels and the consensus was that Coastfm does not need to change anything.  Positive comments were made from our listeners  regarding the Easymix, our coverage of The Mariners Games and the fact we provided local information for the community.

CoastFM and Central Coast ARAFMI have won an awared in the recent Mental Health Month, for Local Media in Mental Health Matters.

Annual General Meeting : Sunday – 19th October, 2014 – 2pm @ Ourimbah Lisarow RSL Club.

 NEXT MEETING :  MONDAY –  10 November,  2014.

As always, CoastFM is sounding sensational,

Jan Little,

Secretary, CoastFM 963.
