From The Secretary
The following are short notes from the Management Committee Meeting held on the 8 April, 2013.
It is time to consolidate and prepare our Business Plan and Budget, if you have any ideas/suggestions to be included in the Business Plan please contact our Treasurer, Meredith Gilmore.
The Fundraising Team is working hard, with the Trivia night now proposed after the school holidays, a movie night also in the planning for May. The Kariong Festival was a good day, and many thanks to all those who came along and assisted for the day, we did very well for fundraising and it was great PR for Coastfm.
3 new members this month !
There is an Anzac Day Special planned for the 25th April, this will play between 5 and 6am on that morning. Reviews are underway, music feature for this month is One Hit Wonders and May will be Motown. A new Maltese programme will begin on the 2nd May between 6 and 7pm. as well as a new segment, Talking Money each weekday at 7.15.
The new transmitter and silence detector have been installed and are working well.
Our research with HunterValley Research has been finalised with positive results. Community awareness of Coastfm has increased and one third of these respondents had listened to Coastfm in the last 2 weeks, with the largest age bracket being 50 – 64 but we had a significant increase in the 18 to 24 year olds !!
